So as to reinforce students’ drug resistant education, play the main channel role of our school, minimize the harm of drugs to society, help teenagers realize the hazard of drugs as well as improve their anti-drug consciousness, recently Anqing Foreign Language School’s Youth League Committee and Information Group organized students to participate in the on-line problem solving activities in regard to drug control knowledge competition for teenagers nationwide.
In the first place, guided by the IT teachers, students logged in the ‘China Anti-Drug Digital Gallery’ to look through drug education and answer questions in earnest.
In the second place, the contents of this informative event included the policies and guidelines of China’s drug banning work, anti-drug laws and regulations, drug history, knowledge of drug, drug harms, drug prohibition techniques, narcotics situation, international relevant anti-drug conventions in addition to teenagers’ drug prevention education knowledge.
In summary, through this on-line drug prohibition knowledge contest, students fully understood that drugs were mankind’s common enemy. Taking drugs would harm others, themselves and society. Besides, drug trafficking, addiction to drugs and tricking others into taking drugs were all illegal criminal activities and would receive legal penalty. Therefore, this drug control knowledge competition not only forcefully enhanced students’ abilities in recognizing drugs, preventing drugs, rejecting drugs, intensified their legal awareness and law-abiding concept, but also played an active part in protecting teenagers’ healthy growth.
